Dr. Maruja Asis and Ms. Cecilia Ruiz-Marave attended the research meeting of the CHAMPSEA-Wave 2 (Child Health and Migrant Parents in Southeast Asia) project held at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, on January 12-13, 2017. The project is coordinated by the National University of Singapore, along with the University of Hong Kong and the University of St. Andrews, UK. The follow-up study in the Philippines and Indonesia is implemented by the Scalabrini Migration Center and Gadjah Mada University, respectively. CHAMPSEA-Wave 1 was carried out in 2008 and involved two other countries—Thailand and Vietnam.
