ATE Project meeting

The Canada-Philippines Alternative Transnational Economies (ATE) Project held a meeting at SMC on December 8. SMC is one of the Philippines-based institutions participating in this transnational collaborative project headed by Philip Kelly of York University. The meeting was an occasion for the research team to share updates about the studies being undertaken in the Philippines and Canada. Those in attendance included Philip Kelly (York University), Leonora Angeles (University of British Columbia), Jeff Ducanes and Thea Basillo (UP School of Economics), Andre Ortega (UP Population Institute), Aurora de Dios (Miriam College), Marla Asis and Kimberly Juanillo (SMC), and Melissa Gibson (Manila-based ATE coordinator and research assistant.
