Scalabrini Migration Center’s Enable Kids Project held its first meeting in Manila on March 28 to discuss the progress of the preliminary mapping and research findings of country partners and plans for future exchange visits. Present at the meeting were: Fr. Graziano Battistella, Dr. Marla Asis and Ms. Karen Liao of SMC; Dr. Itaru Nagasaka from Hiroshima University and Dr. Kim Yang Soon from Jeju National University; Fr. Edwin Corros of the Scalabrini Mission in Japan; Mr. Paul Avecilla of the Commission of Filipinos Overseas (CFO); Ms. Carmelita Nuqui of the Development Action Network for Women (DAWN); and Mr. Edmund Ruga of the Episcopal Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI).
