MIND-NET welcomed September with an M&D Café held on 1 September, at SMC. Featured speakers were: Dr. Nicola Gillin, Anglia Ruskin University, who did a presentation on the contributions of Filipino nurses to the UK’s National Health Service; and balikbayan Jeremaiah Opiniano, currently pursuing a PhD in Geography at The University of Adelaide, who shared his working theoretical framework to examine remittances and development.
