Introducing Link4Skills
The Scalabrini Migration Center is part of the transnational research team for the Link4Skills project, an initiative funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Izabella Grabowska of Kozminski University.
Link4Skills, or Linking for Fair Skill Utilization and Exchanges between Origins and Destinations, intends to foster a balance between the supply of skills and the demands of domestic and global labor markets through support for re/up-skilling, automation, and migration. The project focuses on skilled workers in STEM, health, and construction.
As the implementing institution in the Philippines, the SMC team of Dr. Maruja M.B. Asis, Dr. Geoffrey Ducanes, and Dr. Andrea Soco-Roda will study two migration skill corridors: Philippines-Germany and Philippines-Poland.
