About the Asian and Pacific Migration Journal
APMJ is the first peer-reviewed journal with a specific focus on migration issues in the Asia-Pacific region. At its launch in 1992, founding editor Graziano Battistella explained the need for a more thorough and informed analysis of migration and its relevance. On its 25th anniversary in 2016, former APMJ Editorial Board member Jerry Huguet noted that the journal has chronicled most of the changes in migration patterns, trends and policies in the region.
The partnership forged between SMC and SAGE Publications in 2015 augured positive developments. Learn more about APMJ, submission of manuscripts, and subscription rates.
